A heat exchanger transfers heat between two fluids without mixing them, optimising energy efficiency. The fluids flow through separate channels—in shell and tube designs, one fluid passes through the tubes while the other flows around them in the shell—enabling efficient heat recovery from waste streams like flue gases.
ThermStack TSE units are flue stack economisers designed specifically for boiler flue gas to liquid heat recovery (445–800 kW). EcoStream EST are larger shell & tube heat exchangers for flue gas to liquid applications (2,000–3,500 kW) with counterflow configuration. EnerAir EAA are air-to-air heat exchangers for flue gas to air recovery (250–550 kW).
CO₂ savings depend on the model and your application. The ThermStack TSE range saves 568–1,021 tonnes/year, the EcoStream EST range saves 2,552–4,466 tonnes/year, and the EnerAir EAA range saves 319–702 tonnes/year. These figures are based on typical industrial operating conditions.
Yes, all our heat exchangers are designed for easy retrofitting into existing boiler and process systems. The modular design minimises disruption during installation. EcoStream EST units offer both horizontal and vertical mounting options for maximum flexibility.
All models are constructed from SS 304L stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance, durability, and longevity even in harsh industrial environments with high temperatures and pressures.
Our heat exchangers are designed for easy disassembly, allowing straightforward inspection, cleaning, and maintenance. Individual tube cleaning is possible on shell & tube models. The robust SS 304L construction minimises maintenance frequency and extends service life.
