Key advantages of indirect process heaters in agricultural applications.

Contamination-Free Heat
Indirect design separates combustion from process air — critical for food-grade agricultural products.
Energy Cost Savings
80–90% thermal efficiency plus optional heat recovery significantly reduces seasonal operating costs.
Multi-Fuel Operation
Natural gas, LPG, biogas flexibility lets you use the most cost-effective energy source available.
Scalable Capacity
From single-burner 750 kW to double-burner 2500 kW — match your capacity to any operation size.
Weather-Independent
Rapid 30-minute startup and consistent output means your drying schedule isn't dictated by the weather.
Low Maintenance
Free-floating tube design eliminates thermal stress, extending service life beyond 20 years.
Built to Fit
Your Operation
Drop-in heat source for your existing grain dryer — no structural changes, no production downtime.
Harvest Won't Wait.
Your Dryer Shouldn't Either.
When wet grain is piling up and the forecast gives you a two-day window, the last thing you need is unreliable heat. The EcoHeat connects directly to your existing drying tower — cold start to full output in 30 minutes, running 24/7 through peak season without skipping a beat.
81,000 m³/h airflow clears batches faster — less time in the bin, less risk of mould and mycotoxins.
80–90% thermal efficiency with multi-fuel flexibility. Switch to LPG, natural gas, or biogas — whichever is cheapest this season.
Indirect heating = zero combustion gases touching your crop. Every load meets food-grade standards, every time.

FAQs
Common questions about using indirect process heaters for agricultural drying and feed production.
Our indirect process heaters use a heat exchanger to separate combustion gases from the air stream. The heated air that contacts your grain is 100% clean — no soot, no combustion byproducts, no contamination. This is critical for maintaining food-safety standards and preserving nutritional content in both feed and food-grade grain.
For most cereal grains destined for storage, drying temperatures of 40–65°C are recommended. Seed grain requires lower temperatures (40–45°C) to preserve germination rates, while feed grain can tolerate up to 90°C. Our control systems allow precise temperature regulation within ±2°C across the full range.
Absolutely. The EcoHeat series is designed for intensive seasonal operation. With ~30 minute startup from cold and modulating burners that adjust output to match load, you can run 24/7 during harvest periods. The free-floating tube bundle design handles thermal cycling without stress cracking.
Our units support natural gas, LPG (bottled or bulk tank), and biogas. For remote agricultural sites, LPG bulk storage with our E108-compatible burners is the most popular option. Farms with anaerobic digesters can use biogas directly, creating a closed-loop energy system.
The EcoHeat units are designed as standalone heat sources that connect to your existing ducting. Flexible inlet/outlet configurations, custom control panel integration, and optional air recirculation systems make retrofit installations straightforward — typically completed in 2–3 days.
With 80–90% thermal efficiency and up to 30% fuel savings compared to older direct-fired systems, most agricultural operations see ROI within 2–3 harvest seasons. Additional savings come from reduced grain spoilage, lower electricity costs (low pressure drop), and optional waste heat recovery.
