Incineration
AmoBurn incinerators for classified documents, ordnance disposal, and secure waste management.
Purpose-built AmoBurn AMBI series incinerators for military and defence waste streams. Secure destruction of classified materials, ammunition waste, and explosive ordnance with full regulatory compliance.
Three Models,
One Solution

Compact military incinerator for secure disposal — 150 kg capacity for field and base operations.

Mid-range military incinerator — 250 kg for medium-scale classified material destruction.

High-capacity military incinerator — 300 kg for large-scale secure disposal operations.
Waste Stream
Applications
Select a waste stream to see how AmoBurn incinerators address your specific waste destruction requirements.
Classified documents, protectively marked materials, and sensitive information require verifiable complete destruction. AmoBurn AMBI incinerators achieve total thermal destruction at 850–1,200°C — reducing documents to sterile ash with zero recoverable content. Chain-of-custody documentation and witnessed destruction protocols available.
Dual-Chamber Design
Primary and secondary combustion for complete destruction
Coretex Refractory
Premium heat-resistant lining for thermal efficiency
Smart Controls
IP6X PLC with optional remote monitoring
Cool-Touch Cladding
Operator safety with full thermal insulation
Built for
Military & Defence Waste
Key advantages of our incinerators for military & defence waste destruction.

Multi-Fuel Operation
Natural gas, hydrogen, diesel, LPG, or biofuel — switch fuel source to match site infrastructure, cost targets, and your path to net zero with hydrogen-ready burners.
3–5% Ash Residue
Complete dual-chamber combustion at 850–1,200°C reduces waste volume by 95–97% — dramatically cutting disposal costs and landfill dependency.
Rapid Heat-Up
All AmoBurn models reach full operating temperature within 30 minutes — minimising downtime between burns and maximising daily throughput capacity.
Robust Construction
8–12mm steel construction with high-temperature scratch-resistant paint, cool-touch cladding for operator safety, and Coretex refractory lining for thermal efficiency.
Smart Controls
IP6X rated PLC control panels with optional remote monitoring — providing real-time combustion data, emission logging, and predictive maintenance alerts.
Energy Recovery Options
Optional heat recovery, water pre-heating (70–95°C), waste heat to steam (2–10 bar), and electrical generation (3–15 kW) — turning waste destruction into an energy asset.
Your Incinerator
Pays You Back
Built-in heat recovery systems capture waste energy from incineration and redirect it back into your facility — cutting fuel costs and offsetting energy bills.
Waste Heat Becomes
Facility Energy.
Every AmoBurn incinerator generates significant thermal energy during waste destruction. Instead of venting that heat to atmosphere, our integrated recovery systems capture it and redirect it back into your facility — pre-heating water, generating steam, producing electricity, or pre-drying incoming waste to halve fuel consumption. The incinerator becomes a net energy contributor rather than just a disposal cost.
Recovered exhaust heat generates hot water for site heating, wash-down systems, or process use — displacing dedicated gas-fired water heaters.
Waste heat boiler generates low-to-medium pressure steam for industrial processes, sterilisation, or supplementing existing boiler capacity.
Thermoelectric or micro-turbine modules convert waste heat to electricity — offsetting site power costs and improving overall energy efficiency.
Recovered heat pre-dries incoming waste before combustion — removing moisture halves fuel consumption and improves combustion efficiency.

FAQs
Common questions about using our incinerators for military & defence waste destruction.
AmoBurn AMBI incinerators handle classified documents and protectively marked materials, ammunition waste and explosive ordnance residues, contaminated military equipment, base operations waste, and field deployment refuse. The dual-chamber design at 850–1,200°C with 2.0-second gas residence ensures complete destruction with zero recoverable content — meeting MOD and NATO waste disposal standards.
All AmoBurn models support multi-fuel operation including natural gas, hydrogen (H₂), diesel, LPG, and biofuel. Our hydrogen-ready burners future-proof your investment for the transition to net zero. Fuel consumption is further reduced through the optional Waste Pre-Dry system, which halves energy usage by removing moisture before combustion.
The AmoBurn PLC control system continuously monitors chamber temperature, oxygen levels, and combustion conditions. Modulating burners automatically adjust fuel and air ratios to maintain optimal combustion regardless of waste composition — from paper-based classified documents to high-calorific ammunition packaging and contaminated military equipment. Chain-of-custody documentation and witnessed destruction protocols available.
AmoBurn incinerators maintain emissions well within regulatory limits through complete combustion at 850°C+ with 2.0-second gas residence time, tertiary air fans for thorough mixing, and Coretex refractory for consistent thermal performance. All units comply with the Environmental Permitting Regulations 2016 and EU Industrial Emissions Directive (IED). Optional continuous emissions monitoring is available.
We offer multiple energy recovery configurations: waste heat to hot water pre-heating (70–95°C) for site heating or process use, waste heat to steam generation (2–10 bar) for industrial processes, and electrical generation modules (3–15 kW) to offset site power costs. The optional Waste Pre-Dry system also uses recovered heat to remove moisture from incoming waste, halving fuel consumption.
Routine maintenance includes burner inspection, refractory condition checks, ash removal (manual or optional auto-removal system), and control panel diagnostics. Typical inspection intervals are 3–6 months depending on utilisation. The robust 8–12mm steel construction and Coretex refractory lining are designed for extended service life with minimal degradation.
