London, UK – Epsilor Electric Fuel Ltd., a renowned developer of smart Li-Ion batteries, is set to launch its groundbreaking COMBATT ELI-52526-GM battery at the DSEI UK 2025 exhibition. Boasting an unprecedented 4,400Wh/174Ah capacity, this new NATO standard 6T battery is poised to redefine power solutions for military vehicles and deployable defense systems globally. The unveiling will take place from September 9-12, 2025, in London.

Unmatched Energy Density for Military Applications

The COMBATT ELI-52526-GM battery claims the highest energy capacity in the 6T battery market, delivering an energy density six times greater than comparable lead-acid batteries and 50% more than other lithium 6T competitors. This significant leap in power is critical for modern defense operations that demand robust and reliable energy sources for a variety of demanding applications.

Designed specifically for defense vehicles, deployable weapon systems, and naval platforms, the new battery offers military users extremely high energy capacity within a lightweight 27kg pack. This reduces the logistical burden while enhancing operational endurance for critical equipment.

Advanced Safety and Compliance

Epsilor has addressed the inherent safety challenges associated with high-capacity lithium batteries through a unique energy-absorbing design. This innovative approach ensures the battery complies with stringent safety requirements while maintaining its superior energy output.

The COMBATT ELI-52526-GM is undergoing rigorous testing by US-based independent laboratories as part of Epsilor’s bid to obtain US ARMY Military Performance Specification Compliance (MIL-PRF-32565C – TYPE 2). These comprehensive tests include evaluations for bullet penetration, performance in extreme temperatures (up to 500°C heat), and long cycle life, demonstrating the battery’s resilience and reliability in harsh combat environments.

Driving the Future of Military Electrification

The development of the COMBATT ELI-52526-GM underscores a growing trend towards the electrification and hybridization of military platforms. With an advanced Battery Management System (BMS), the battery allows for seamless integration into both modern and traditional vehicles, supporting series and parallel connectivity for various propulsion technologies and subsystems. This includes applications such as silent watch, power backup, tactical micro-grids, start-stop systems, and auxiliary power units.

Epsilor Electric Fuel Ltd., based in Israel, is a recognized leader in smart battery development and is part of the Michigan-based AROTECH Corporation. Their latest innovation is set to provide armed forces with the necessary power to operate increasingly sophisticated and energy-intensive systems on the battlefield.
